How long does the tour take? And is it suitable for children under 4 years old?

Thanks

The guided tour took about 45 minutes. I would say it would not not be suitable for young children. There are no facilities that would be of interest like play areas. The tour would not be of interest because of the deep historical facts being discussed. Very interesting for young and older persons but not children. I can imagine a bored child in this environment would became a distraction to others on the tour. Hope this helps.

About 30-40 mins. Although they won’t understand it but Yes , it’s suitable for your little one to walk along the tour. You’re given an ear piece before the tour so you can hear what the tour guide is saying.

The tour takes 45 mins to an hour. I think it will be hard to hold your children's concentration quite that long.

But of course they are all different. I think you find the same with the static display too. Very interesting for those who want to know more of our short history, but again maybe too much for children.?

Absolutely. Plenty of spaces for them to run.

The guided tour is one hour, the performance is about 30 minutes, the museum is full of interesting material and the grounds are worth exploring and we enjoyed the cafe. We spent all day at Waitangi because it was really interesting but we don't think it would be suitable for young children.

I'd say a couple of hours to see everything. This is geared more towards teens and adults with an interest of history. I don't think it would hold a young child's attention, there really is nothing for them to touch or do.

Tour takes about 2hrs and I'm pretty sure it will not be suitable for your 4yr old as your guide will go through quite a bit of history and stories during the tour.

The basic tour is about 1 hour. As for 4 year old Chidren ? It depends on the child and the family. It is possible if your children are used to such activities.

It takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours, depending on whether you purchase tickets to include the Maori welcoming ceremony, Haka, traditional dance, etc., which is well worth it.

I have seen parents with buggies and children are allowed at the live show too.

The guide explains the history, the canoe, the Treaty ground's history, significance, etc. There are also documentary shows running inside the grounds shop's theatre and inside the museum. Check weather before visit. Avoid rainy days.

I recall it takes about 2h, and I do not judge it as suitable for kids under age four.
