The sand-covered church Questions & Answers

Philadelphia

You wrote:". If you are on a cruise ship with limited time in port you may want to skip this one. We enjoyed the walk, going up the steeple and meeting a few locals out for a walk." We are on a cruise ship but - doing research - it seems the town is small and maybe an hour top to walk around. Then there is the point where the oceans meet (lots of walking on sand) and the small Art Museum. we ARE on a cruise. What do you think would be better if not a leisurely 1/2 hour walk to the church, just as a destination? Thanks!

Depending on where your ship is. You cannot walk from Skagen harbor to the church in 1 hour.

Same thing for the Grenen where the oceans meet.

But both have lovely works.
