I am planning a trip to the NMAAHC, and only need one night in a hotel. Can you share anything about parking at the hotel? How far away is the Metro, and what's the cost?

Valet parking is available and it seem to cost around $40-45. The Foggy Bottom Metro Station is a 2-1/2 blocks away. Use the Blue Line from Ronald Raegan airport and the cost is around $3.00 per person one-way. It runs about every 12-15 minutes, easy to use even with luggage, and very inexpensive and quicker than a cab.

The Foggy Bottom metro station is a five minute walk, and is very convenient. There is valet parking at the hotel--not inexpensive but typical for a city--something like $30-$40 per night. You can get Metro cards online (WMATA) or at the station. Fares are reasonable. The hotel rates fluctuate depending on what is going on in DC and at GWU--anywhere from $130 to $300/night. The area is close to the Watergate complex, lots of restaurant options, and a great walking/biking/running path along the river.

The metro is walking distance (about 3 min). There is a valet parking at the hotel (additional fee but I don't remember the exact number now).

The hotel had parking, although we did not use it. It is near George Washington University and not far at all from the Foggy Bottom Metro stop. I believe we paid about $239 a night. We were there at the beginning of April so the rate might be more expensive during the peak summer months.
