It's 3.3 km from Ben Thanh market so you can catch a taxi, the total price is $2.
Last time, my local friend drove and took me there.
You can use Google Map to navigate the shortest route by bus.
Sorry, unable to answer as I went by taxi.
I was at the BinTay market area. The taxi took us there in about 10 mins time and cost us about 20,000 Dong.
It will be quite ok if you are in a group of 3 or 4 people, the fare will not be high.
I used a GrabCar SUV (seats 7 pax) to go from Bui Vien Street to Fito Museum, this costed 42,000 VND which is about US$2.00. Use Google Maps to check distance and transport options, but I guess hopping into a taxi or GrabCar is cheap and fast.
I booked Saigon Hotpot students for an afternoon trip to Bin Tay Market but asked them to bring us to Fito museum first before the market tour. Our hotel doorman got us a taxi and talked to the driver to bring us to Fito.
Me and a friend took the bus and showed the driver a note in Vietnamese with our destination. He told us when to get off and then it was another 5 minute walk to the museum
Or you can get the light rail from Central station and it's a signposted short walk
Take a screen shot and take a taxi. Show the taxi the address on your phone. I wouldn't use the bus as it won't drop you off in front of your destination and will take much longer to get there. Also if you're not watching you could miss your stop and waste time. Take a taxi there then ask the shop employees what bus to get back to your district. It's also a nice area to walk around and get cheap massages as it is not near the city center.
