How do we get to this hotel from the airport and what is the cost?
We booked a private transport once we arrived in Santiago (there are plenty of companies all housed within the luggage/arrivals area once you pass through customs). It's by far the simplest way to get where you going, and it was relatively affordable. It took us about 30 minutes to get to Las Condes, and it was about $40 for two people.
There are plenty of taxi's at the airport that will take you to the hotel, they will probably approach you so you don't have to worry about looking for one Many of them have mini vans so no problem with luggage either. Typically the company I work for has a driver arranged, one time they forgot and after aimlessly wondering around a guy with a badge around his next approached me and walked me through finding an ATM and then getting a taxi and giving him instructions on where to take me. It's a good idea to print out the name and address of the hotel. the taxi was $50 and I gave the guy who arranged everything $10 (actually paid in Chilean peso's). Hope this helps, I wish I was going there, I love it!
