Hi I’m am staying at the Jumeriah Zabeel Saray for 5 nights in April, half board with my family. Is there any tips for this hotel, e.g, best restaurants, breakfast, pool, etc. We also get dinner included in other Jumeriah restaurants around the palm, any good ones? We also get free unlimited access to wild wadi waterpark? Any tips?
We mostly eat vegetarian ? Can’t wait to stay here but would appreciate any tips. Thanks :)
Only 5 nights and one day from them spend in wild wadi, you will have not enough time to be in the same place twice!
Imperium breakfast buffet as well as dinner is good if you are vegetarian. Indian (not my cup of tea, though) is pretty good for vegetarians. I like Lebanese p, Turkish and sultan lounge, though vegetarian options will be less.
Pool is very good and huge, but getting busy in the middle of the day. No problems with sun beds - ample. Service is excellent there. Much less busy is in the beach, where you will get very mild breeze.
It is an amazing resort and I am sure you will have a great time!
There are various hotels on The Palm, but no restaurants (that i saw on the outer rim) Most of the restaurants are in The Marina area, its a reasonable taxi ride, but taxis in Dubai are the only things that are cheap (about £20 for a 30-35km ride) We used the Turkish, Indian and Steak-house in the hotel, they were good- note some things carry a surcharge. I was not keen on the buffet in the hotel. We ate at the Burj al Arab, one evening and the surcharge was £100 per head, never worth it after the experience. We did not use the Waterpark as my wife was ill for most of the week.
We will be visiting May (again). We normally do alternate nights on/off site if we're staying for a long visit. I'm not vegetarian but they have a good selection of restaurants and we NEVER do the buffet (just don't like them for evening meals anywhere). Personal choices Amala - Indian. Rib Room - Steak House. Sultans Lounge - mixed menu. Plaj Italian. Lalezar - Turkish. That's five that we use and there are an additional two Imperium - Buffet ando Al Nafoorah - Lebanese. So if you stayed for a week you could eat in a different one each night? They do have menu's outside each restaurant on stands so you can check choices before making any bookings or the menus are online. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay and as I said you can jump on the shuttle to the other hotels/Madinat to use the others.
We are in the Jumeirah Al Qasr right now on the half board and you can make it very good value. Breakfast is usually at the main buffet, which is very extensive and there are tons of vegetarian friendly meals. For dinner you can choose from the buffet or a selection of a la carte restaurants that are fully included plus there are some that have a per person up charge. The complementary restaurants are very good and there is a good selection of cuisines at the a la carte so I’m sure you’ll get a good vegetarian selection. Just keep in mind the Zabeel Saray is actually a bit far from Medinat Jumeirah - like a 15-20 min taxi ride (where there are tons of restaurants you can go to). It’s worth going but not everyday.
Loved the Rib room but as a vegetarian it’s not for you. La Plaj was very nice and I have to say I found the buffet Imperium to be very good, lots of fresh salads if that’s thing.
The beach and pool is not the best TBH but it hasn’t stopped me booking again, we’ll be back in April. Taxis are cheap and make use of the shuttle to make use of the other restaurants in the group, my fax is La Parilla buts a steak house so again maybe not for you
