Don’t go all inclusive, way too many other places around to eat!

Dependent on your tastes ‘Bali Collection’ which is a complex of shops and cafe/restaurants is a 15 minute walk away and offers a variety of cuisines at reasonable prices - a main course for around £7. We only ate at two of them, one of which (Mai Mai) was much better than the other.

However all drinks are extremely expensive especially at the hotel/s. Even at the supermarkets at Bali Collection a bottle of wine will set you back in the region of £12 at least. In the hotel it’s about £20-30 dependent on which wine you go for! A glass will cost around £8.50+!

Our preferred option was to eat at Banyubiru where you have a selection of dishes to choose from and eat as much as you like. As my review states, avoid Arwana, the food is overpriced, lukewarm, if it arrives at all, and served by surly staff!!

Trust me you do not need all inclusive. Why? Firstly although the hotel has numerous restaurants there are places outside hotel about 15-20 min max walk away. Here you will find your usual tourist shops, small supermarkets for your beers and soft drinks which you can fill you room fridge with for use in daytime. Also there is at least one restaurant which for set price you can eat as much as you can and believe me the food just keeps on coming.

So in short take your credit card or cash with you and enjoy the food and atmosphere a short walk from the hotel. If you do wish to eat in hotel I found the try the main restaurant plenty of choice but yes more expensive than outside.

Hope this helps.

We spent a lot of time eating and drinking at the nearby Bali Connection which is great for quick fun casual meals. Food was a lot cheaper as well.

Alcohol is expensive everywhere due to the taxes. Maybe bring some duty free whisky like we did.

Beer and cider are okay price wise. Spirits were super expensive.

Hi The prices are a little expensive if you like a drink on par with London prices but with better scenery. £20.00 for a JW - JD & Coke. £40.00 plus for a bottle of wine.
