Are there mosquitoes around in October? What is the daytime/evening temperature now? Is it better to pay in Kuno or euro? Thanks

Dear Mrs Lynn,

The Temperature now is 23-24°C during the day and 10-12°C during the night.

It is hard to predict, because, with these climate changes, each year can be different.

There is no mosquitos now and I hope it won`t be them next year.

The official currency is stil Kuna, but you do not have to worry about that, because there is a Bank or exchange office every 100m.

Hi We have been twice in mid september and no mosquitos. Last year the temperature was higher in the evening, however this year it was mainly cool and a cardigan or jacket is required. There are often thunderstorms so take a waterproof coat/umbrella.you must pay in Kuna.Just take a small amout with you and exchange rest when you get there. Exchange rate is better in banks than exchange offices, try the bank of Zagreb at opposite end of harbour by icecream parlour,no passport required. If you have a Halifax clarity credit card and use it to pay for meals the exchange rate is brilliant if you pay in kunas and no charges. You can also drink water out of tap in hotel and water that is served with coffees.
