Bruce, Why did you not read my review that said that you had to follow the dress code before you went?
Bruce obviously does not understand how to show respect to various cultures. I have taken out shoes when attending a Chinese church. Some worship centers requires a head covering. And if a homeless person in rags showed up at this church property, they would be warmly greeted. And offered a robe. Like I was. And I was not offended.
I believe people should dress decently. However, suppose a homeless person walks into your church. How will he/she be treated by the congregation? Will they be welcome, or snubbed away as would be from a country club. Please read the gospel (King James Version, NIV, etc.), then the answer will come to you. Too many "churches", that call themselves that, have the country club concept. That is NOT what Jesus intends for a church to be. Like it or not, that's the answer.
