The hotel has a travel desk; primarily aimed at local activities. You can however also book bus tickets with them and many other activities. Suggest you ask them.

Hi Kelvin,

Oliver is right, you can ask the hotel in house travel agent to buy tickets to attractions for you. We went for the new cable car ride up to Fansipan Mountain (it started operating in Feb2016) and you can actually take a shuttle bus up from Sapa town at 10,000 Dong (S$0.60) per person and purchase the cable car ticket yourself at the ticket counter for 600,000 dong.

There's no airport in Sapa. You can choose to take a coach or the overnight train to Sapa from Hanoi.

The overnight train ride is actually an experience not to be missed :) we paid USD 164 for a 4-berth cabin on the newer train Sapaly Express. I used vietnam tour co Ltd to book the tickets, think the amount includes an agent fee, but I think it's worth paying a small fee to avoid the hassle of navigating the train station on your own as most of the signs there are in Vietnamese.

Yes you can buy tickets to local attractions from hotel. There is no airport in Sapa. You need to take train or bus to go in the north from Hanoi. And when you get to train station, you have another 1h bus ride to get to Sapa.

Hi Kelvin,

Agree with Olivier, you need to take night train or bus from Hanoi to Sapa.

For the train there is 4 sharing bed, if you dt like share wt others you need to buy the 4 ticket.

Last time I'm book a local trip wt below tour company. Their services is very good. You may ask them to quote you. April 2016 I'm take below package, estimation cost USD 520, as for Sapa train we book the whole room.
