Thank you for your inquiry. While the guestrooms at Svendsgaard's Inn are not ADA compliant there are several guestrooms that are more accessible for those with disability. For more detailed information regarding the guestrooms at Svendsgaard's Inn please contact us at 800-433-4732.

Our street level rooms are wheel chair accessible. Both the lower level and upper level require using stairs. Please contact us directly, if requesting street level.

I believe that the first floor has disability access however you had better call the front desk. My past visits to this hotel have all been on the second floor and there is no elevator that I recall. You may actually need to go down a small stairway to get to the first floor rooms. And the bags have to be brought in from the car in the parking lot, so be prepared for that. Good luck, Claude

The only thing I noticed was bars to hang on to in the shower upstairs. Call 800-433-4732 and ask them. I've stayed at several places in Carmel and now this is the only place I stay. I love it here.

What I know is that it does not have disability access. For both, bottom and first floor rooms, there are stairs. To make sure, I would also email or make a call.

The bottom layer rooms are adjacent and open to a courtyard that are accessible via stairs. I am not aware of an elevator. However the rooms on the upper level are accessible via the sidewalk from the parking lot and office. These rooms also open to the courtyard below. I do not know if any of those rooms have disability access. I would agree with the previous call that an ail or call to the office would be best.

I do not know about accessibility. Would be better to email or call the inn directly.
