No reservations, the property is quite large. Tastings depend on the amount champagnes you wish to taste and if you want cheese pairings. Outside patio is quite beautiful and worth the wait.

Yes, reservations are necessary but you can probably book the same day. It's $40 per person for tour and wine tasting (4 sparkling, 2 still wines; all delicious). I don't think it's as well known as the big names (e.g. Robert Mondavi winery) but it should be. It is owned by the Taittinger family and the chateau is an exact copy of the castle in France. Great tour. You will enjoy yourself.

We wakes right in on a Sunday afternoon. I think a tasting started at $35, but I can't totally remember.

Beautiful setting. Wines are so-so. Consider Gloria Ferrer which is nearby. Better wine. Also a very nice setting and a relaxing patio. Much less pretentious and bling. (No chateau...)
