Every so often there is some place to sit, but are few and far between. There are some shorter trails.

Yes, there were/are benches and a few covered viewing areas. It is completely handy capped ready as well.

Yes there are nicely spaced benches along the boardwalk. Most of the trail has railing for leaning. Also, it is a level boardwalk conducive to scooters and wheelchairs. There may be some bumps that interefere with such equipment but generally things are accessible. It is a very long boardwalk, just mind where you are going and take into account your stamina. Take a map from the box near the beginning of the boardwalk and plan your walk. This place is fascinating and can draw you in deeper that you realize.

Yes, there are several places along the walkway where they actually encourage you to sit and be still. The animals are much more active if you are able to stop and be an observer. Bench bump-outs are prevalent throughout the walkway.
