Hi, starz1343. What would you like to know about this accommodation?
How is the food? What are the dining options and costs?
The resort is in the middle of nowhere but it is only about ten miles away from Cumberland, MD, which has all of your usual chain restaurants and a couple of family owned that are worth visiting, such as the Crabby Pig. At the resort, they have a bar and grill that serves bar food (pretty good), a buffet which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (looked good but didn't eat the buffet at all because of the price. The restaurant is over-priced but we did eat there once and I had the best steak I have ever eaten (but it was almost $40).
The restaurant menus are available on the resort website under the dine & drink tab. I highly recommend checking these out.
Like the dining room more so than the bar restaurant. Food in dining room is excellent, I believe it's called Signatures. I am not a fan of buffets so it wouldn't be fair to rate them. Signatures has a nice menu.
Skip wing night, tiny wings. We enjoyed the fresh made pizza on the back deck later, same place. We also enjoyed dinner at the other end, not the buffet, ate outside, good food. We did not try the buffets. The prices were reasonable when we visited last July.
The food choices are good and pricing is fair. If you want something more economical drive 10 miles west towards Cumberland/Lavale
