is this resort safe for pregnant women? are there any hammocks on the beach for residents? are there many mosquitos in the area?
Dear Queen Jetsetter,
Thank you for your message. Yes indeed the resort is very safe for pregnant women. There can be sea urchins, particularly on our private island, Ilot Mangenie so we recommend wearing sea shoes, which are available at the hotel.
As with all tropical islands, there can be mosquitos, although repellent is available in all our rooms.
There is a hammock in our beach villa, otherwise our hotel beaches have beautiful comfortable sun beds.
We hope that helps and look forward to welcoming you to your Personal Paradise at Shangri-La's Le Touessrok Resort & Spa.
Whilst not in the medical profession would say perfectly safe. Didn't see any hammocks although lots of available beds. Returned last week and it's currently their winter so v few mosquitoes.
It's family friendly hotel and it's safe for pregnant women, we stayed for a week last month but didn't notice any mosquitos there although they provide a mosquito repellent cream with each room. Enjoy
I found the entire resort safe for pregnant women, including the access to the rooms, the restaurants and recreative areas. Even the boats in the pier are ok to be access, also.
We also didn´t notice mosquitos in the resort area...
Regarding hammocks in the beach, I suggest you to ask directly to resort prior to your stay.
Hope that help...
