if you want to stay more cheaply, and eat protein at breakfast, stay at Scenic View in Bryson City and buy breakfast items from Ingles supermart the night beforer, or visit local fast-food places; the breakfasts that one pays for at the big chains is usually just a cheap carbo-fest, hardly worth the extra $30-40.
There were cereals (2 or 3 kinds), waffle maker, bread, firm bagels, muffins, orange and stale apple juice, stay away coffee and a mysteriously empty food tray. All in all, can't complain when you wake up on a snowstormed morning type.
Grains, apples, bananas. It was a basic continental breakfast. May have had a waffle maker.
