There are a few pubs near here - two within walking distance

The Tame Otter is fantastic - staff are really friendly and food is brilliant. It's about 5 mins walk straight down the road.

The Red Lion is nice too which is about a 10 min walk past the Tame Otter and turn left.

Oak Tree Farm has all the menu's for the local pubs so you know what to expect

We only stayed there for one night in order to attend a Royal marine Parade at the National Arbouretum (?) and did not have time to sample other than The Red Lion in the village, just up the road from Oak Tree Farm. We had a lovely meal was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. I hope this helps.

We went to the Red Lion twice, (Tame Otter very busy over the weekend we stayed). Food was good and well priced and placed seemed to be where the locals came for a drink.

There are two pubs in Hopwas, the Tame Otter and the Red Lion. We have used the Tame Otter and it was very good, I understand that the other one is good too.
