Are there feathered friends up close and personal. One member is terrified of birds, chickens, emu peacocks etc

Emus come right up to the bus on the safari. There are other birds roaming freely but they don't tend to come right up to the guests......

Yes, there are some. There are emus on the safari tour that may come right next to your bus, and there are some peacocks and chickens that do wonder freely. They didn't come right up to us, but they are there

Most are in cages, the ostrich are behind fences but there are Peacocks that roam the park, but they keep their distance. Every now and then there may be a loose chicken or guinea hen out. I do not recall any large birds in the safari ride area.

I believe they were all in cages or behind fences. Except there are a couple large birds out in he safari area that might approach the bus to be fed. I have photos of them in the distance but can't remember if they actually came up to us.

They have them, but they're not in the petting zoo part.
