Sorensen's Resort Questions & Answers

I'd like to take my wife here for our 25th wedding anniversary, shortly, so just the two us. We had a wonderful dinner there last summer. Does anyone have a particular cabin they would recommend? Thanks in advance!

I agree that being away from the road is better. Traffic noise quiets down in the evening. We had a pet so we stayed in a 'pet friendly' cabin.

My wife, dog, and I stayed at a cabin on the highway so you don't want one of those. Get one as far back as you can because the highway noise is pretty formidable at night.

There is a pretty strong sewer smell in quite a few of the cabins.

Any cabin away from the highway would be quite.

Saint Nick's is back from the road if you're looking for quieter. Among its features is Jacuzzi=style tub in addition to the shower. The bedroom is up a circular staircase in a loft. It has a queen sized bed.

We have been choosing Ponderosa in recent years, also a comfortable cabin back from the road. It has two double beds, but we find we sleep better in separate beds when we're away from home. Happy anniversary.

We love the remote Chapel cabin. It is in the back. Quaint and quiet. Congrats on your anniversary!

We always stay in the Sierra House. It's just great. Very quiet and large. Not inexpensive, however.

Definitely farthest from the road is best. We brought our dog so stayed in Sheephearder because it is pet friendly. I liked it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and you'll find that they will give you helpful advice to help you choose. Enjoy, and the walk up the fire road in back of the property is beautiful.

We stayed in a freestanding house across street from main buildings. I agree with above person that road noise is fairly loud and would get back from road.

Enjoy
