We are looking at the trip with a child, is it exciting or just like a floating trip we as adults have only done the lV and V
Thanks for the inquiry! Of the two sections, the Scenic Float on the Lower Section of the Pigeon River is very calm with a small taste of whitewater. Guests on this section can expect great scenery, some fun splashes, and time for swimming in the river. I typically recommend this section for groups with children between the ages of 3 and 7. If the child in your group is 8 years old or older, then I would recommend the Whitewater Rafting trip on the Upper Section. This is a moderate whitewater trip (10 Class III rapids and 3 Class IV rapids), that provides a great introduction to whitewater. Previous rafting experience is not required on either section, and both sections have a guide in every raft. I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions. Thanks!
