Courtyard Roanoke Airport Questions & Answers

I will be staying there for a week and I need to have a microwave and fridge in my room. I have a reservation for the basic king size room. Will these things be in there?

Do I need to bring my own coffee for the coffee maker or is there some provided?

Hello Elizabeth J,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us while you are in Roanoke. We appreciate your patronage.

We do have refrigerators in all of our guestrooms. We have a microwave located in the lobby for all of our guests to use but if you could give us a call at the hotel, we can arrange for one to be placed in your room.

We also do have single serve coffee makers in each room. If you need additional coffee, please just let the Front Desk know and they will ensure housekeeping leaves you additional coffee each day when they service your room.

Thank you again for staying with us and we look forward to serving you!

Some rooms have those items. To be safe, you should call the hotel just to make sure your room will be equipped with the things you need. If not, the Residence Inn (which is close by) always has a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Hope this helps!

I did not have a fridge or microwave in the room. I think that the other Marriott property, the Residence Inn, is the only one that has this. I've never seen either in a Courtyard.

Regular coffee will not work in the proprietary type of coffee maker used in Courtyard's. They are single serve coffee pods. If you're a heavy coffee drinker, like I am, I would suggest you bring your own coffee maker, filters, coffee, etc.

It irritates me that Courtyard offers the single serve coffee in the rooms, but doesn't have the free coffee downstairs. They want you to purchase it at their in-house "Bistro" which is a big racket in light of the cost of a room at Courtyard.

Coffee costs less than .05 cents to make per cup, but has a huge mark-up.
