Two questions: 1) Most people describe this place as "tranquil," but there are also reviews that mention being disturbed by the noise of other guests. Are there any "quiet hours" guidelines for the property?
2) Is the place totally "unplugged"? Which is to ask: is there Wifi, TV, Phones/cell phone service, etc.
Thanks!
I wasn't told of any quiet hours. The walls are thin, and sometimes you can hear guests talking/snoring. Now: they have homedics sound spa in room, ear plugs available for guests.
Wi Fi available, no TVs, ceiling fans, small refrigerators, rooms are comfortable and nice, but be aware: some guestrooms. The grounds are beautiful and tranquil. The classes are worth taking, great instructors.
Hidden gem: Walk to and sit in the meditation gazebo ( look at the ocean, listen to the birds and the wind). Peaceful bliss.!
I've stayed at this property 4 times...16 days total and never been bothered by noise and I am extremely noise sensitive.
Wifi is good and free. cell service can be spotty , depends on your carrier. I have ATT. No TV's! No AC.
We stayed last month for 2 nights, so it was a short stay. We did not hear any noise from other guests, so we did experience the tranquil vibe. Since there is no air conditioning, all the windows were left open so I could see that if you have people in the room directly next to you, you may be able to hear them if they are not respectful. Having no A/C was not a problem at all. The nights were cool and breezy.
I did not notice if there was a TV in our room, but I don't remember one. We did use WIFI and it was high speed enough to watch movies on my iPad. We also had decent cell service.
No TV & no AC, yes Wifi & cell coverage. There is music playing via muted speakers in the common areas in the evening. I was not bothered by noise, but I ran a fan at night which masked some ambient sounds. I imagine the ocean view rooms are more quiet, as they face away from the common areas.
I don't recall if they had wi-fi. I believe they did, but no televisions We were not bothered by noise from other guests, but the property was not fully booked. We had a room on the end so we only had one room adjoining ours. The rooms are small. No sitting areas or furniture. It was satisfactory for one night. We checked in and out the next morning for a flight to the airport. It was convenient, yet expensive for that purpose.
