What's the difference between island and tower wings?

are there cockroaches at the Island wing's premier partial ocean view room with kitchenette? I heard lower floors have cockroaches.

Dear haeins2014,

Thank for your questions, we are happy to answer them.

The Tower Wing houses guest rooms with a full frontal Ocean View whereas the Island Wing houses guest rooms with a partial Ocean View. Here at Lotte Guam we confidently assure that normal pest control routines are conducted in all areas of the property. It is in our best interest to provide a safe and pest-free environment for all our guests.

Thank you and we hope to welcome you to Lotte Hotel Guam soon.

Sincerely,

Tower wing is the main building, island wind is by the side, it takes virtually less than 1 minute to walk in between.

View on island wing is on the side, tower wing looks right at front of beach. Rooms in island wing are bigger than tower wing.

I haven't been able to book a room in island wing in kitchenette so I wouldn't know.

I had a kitchenette in my room (Island wing). I never saw any bugs. But per my review - I'd select the Tower wing. The Island wing was very dark and dreary in the hallways. It was a bit depressing going to the rooms and hardly seemed like a vacation/resort quality.
