My Mom is 88 but would love to see some sites where she doesn't have to walk. Can she see the vermilion cliffs well enough without walking
You can see from the highway you get the closest at the east end.
From where my family parked we had to hike to see the beautiful rocks. Like I mentioned in my post, it was almost 3 miles. Maybe from another entrance you can see better without hiking but I’m not sure? I would stop at the visitors center in Kanab and ask them. Best of luck!!
We just drove along the highway, and did not go into the interior area, like I have seen on some photos of others, with the red swirling stone patterns. It is beautiful from the road ( route 89A I believe) leading to the Navajo bridge site.
