Bali Niksoma is strategically located on the beachfront of Legian and an easy walk to international bars and restaurants.

As we do not have kids club and children playground at Bali Niksoma, majority of the guests are couples.

I hope the above information helps and we look forward to welcoming you to Bali Niksoma.

Yes you can. Though shopping centres not really. Just outside the hotel (non beach side) there is a circle K type kiosk for your water, beer, crackers, chocolate etc. The markets are there too, with market style things.

A 10 min taxi will get you down to start of Seminyak boutique stretch. We chose to walk instead once and we were so tired at the end of the day as you just walk and walk and walk!

We walked in to Kuta too, but again you are looking at a good 40 min journey. Not the location for shopping centres really.

Restaurants and shopping are an easy walk away. Location of the Niksoma is very central to everything. There hasn't been a lot of kids there when I've been there, more adults and young people.

Other responders have accurately answered the question. With Hotel restaurant prices so reasonable, and food good, we often did not bother to go outside. The added bonus is that Room Service menu is a shortened version of the restaurant menu, and the same price!

We found shopping very disappointing. Thousands of shops but most selling the same things, often tacky imports from China. My wife was looking for silk/cotton clothes, but all we found locally was polyester.

Taxis cheap (as previously noted only use Bluebirds) but take an age to get around due to almost constant traffic jams. Look out for the scooters, they appear to be a law unto themselves, driving on pavements and the wrong way up one-way streets.

Only a few very young children at the Hotel, but it was school term time.

Hi lots of places to go shopping within walking distance. There are many restaurants also within walking distance, especially along the beach which is where this place is. We have been there many times and I would gave to say that just about each time we were there, there would have only been upto 6 kids at a time. If that, and they have been toddlers. Hope this helps

Hi Travelguy

If using taxis in Bali, only use the "Bluebird" blue taxis, they are clean & metered.

They are restaurants close by, the best ones are a short taxi ride to Seminyak

I highly recommend Bambu & Happy Chappy Chinese.

Only 3 children at the resort when we stayed.

Shops, bars and spas right around the corner. Recommend Spa Bali for the best hot stone massage ever.

Only one baby at the hotel during my stay. Not really a hotel for children as there is no Kids Club. A great place for adults wanting to relax. Returning again next month .
