Is it possible to go from Omis to Medjugorje to Split in one day? Would it be enough time? That is all I have. Thank you

It is possible, but it is a serious problem of time crossing the border

Highways are new, you pay toll (worth it, really!!) and not crowded, 2 hours drive each way is on the safe side, but it's a tough day drive (also worth it!!). From Medjugorje to Split you might take less than 2 hours (the first 35 mins in a 2 ways rural road in Bosnia, the rest (including border) on the highway) with no traffic and no significant delays in the border checkpoint. We made it in 1:45 minutes from Medjugorje to Split International Airport. From Omis you will probably last a bit more than an one hour, it really depends on traffic and how long you take to get to the Highway (E65). We last from Omis to Medjugorje more than 2 hours, but we made the mistake not to take the highway and the checkpoint (in the middle of nowhere) needed to confirm something about our passports. Always use the highway!!!

That around 300km are quite reasonable (if you have a car), most of the time you will drive on Croatian highways which are of pretty good quality
