The answers provided are correct. I don't think any restaraunts allow dogs in. But, some shops will allow them. I know there is a dog pet treat shop that you and your dog can shop at.

Some are, with water bowls in front. Many walk their dogs in town. Restaurants? Probably not.

No, unless you have a service dog. Some restaurants that have outdoor seating may or may not allow you to bring Fido. I would call in advance.

Some of them are. lots of people have small dogs there and walk them and eat outside with them at the restaurants that offer outside seating. At Stoneypoint and Short pump mall you can take your dog shopping with you.

I truthfully do not remember seeing a lot of pets inside the stores but do remember people with pets. Sorry, I hope this is of some help.

Carytown is a shopping district located downtown, so it is not a mall. Most shops are small businesses locally owned by individuals so there is not a general policy for companion animals.

Stony Point, however, is a pet friendly outdoor shopping mall. It is 12-15 minute drive from Carytown area.

There is a outdoor mall about 25 minutes from Carytown called Stoneypoint that is pet friendly. I do not recall Carytown shops being pet friendly, but it's a great walk around, and like anywhere it's up to the individual shop owners.

Some stores are, I noticed water bowls outside a few of them. The ice cream store also sells treats for pets!

It varies by business as in many places.

If you know where you want to go the best suggestion is to call those places.

They certainly are not all pet friendly!
