Hidden gem off the upper cobblestone streets of downtown Puerto Vallarta in historical area. Multiple restaurants in three story building. Go to the top! Pass on the sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor.
Family-owned for ages, this is a special place run by three generations of the Gonzalez family. It's location is stunning-views over the city and bay; the food is specially, lovingly prepared. It's off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Ask for a ride back to your hotel, resort in their rigged jeep with table & chairs on top by the owner, Sr. Gonzalez. He's a hoot!
Walk along the malecon at night and feel the energy and charm!
North of PV town, this is where most tourists stay. Booking a boat to the islands, diving and whale-watching best from this location.
Charming, tasteful, modern, yet you feel like you're back in time.
No visit to Puerto Vallarta is complete without a visit to Zona Romantica. The name says it all, but this is where Liz Taylor & Richard Burton built one of their vacation homes, as you'll inevitably hear.
