The Dubai Marina walk offers visitors everything you can possibly want or need from small grocery stores to shops to restaurants as well as a great place to take stroll, jog, or get that perfect iconic Dubai only photo.
The absolute best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in the United Arab Emirates. The table side guacamole is incredible.
Best place to cycle in the Middle East. The Al Qudra cycle path is extremely well maintained, very scenic, easy to ride, and most of all very safe as the path is separated from cars and crazy drivers. The path is vast so take plenty of water but well worth the ride. Best bike path through a desert in the world.
The best way to get a boat ride for only 1 AED. Best and most unique water taxi in Dubai and in the Middle East. Great views and gets you across the creek so you can walk and explore and a cool way to mix it up with the locals who live and work here.
A true must see and take the time to walk around the lagoon to see the show from all areas as the experience changes. Views of the fountain are the best from the lawn opposite the Dubai Mall and is often not crowded while the bridge and promenade in front of the mall is packed with bodies.
Grab a ticket, or get a card that you can recharge and ride both the Green Line and the Red Line to your heart's content. The Metro is the ideal way to reach the popular malls like the Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and the Ibn Battuta Mall as well as the Dubai Marina mall. The metro is an ideal way to see Dubai and get around for cheap.
The Miracle Garden is a great place to visit and experience during the cooler months and growing season. The floral displays are beautiful and well done and makes for an enjoyable visit.
If you are western and want some nightlife, a brew, and pork, then this is the place to visit. The food is great, the atmosphere lively and very hospitable and a great place to have fun and enjoy.
The creek is a must see and can be walked along, ridden with an Abra, and just needs to be experienced. Day or night, there is always activity along the banks of the creek with commercial and tourist river traffic making for a busy place. Great place for a long walk, short walk and a beautiful and unique space.
A beautiful and well kept park that is worth a visit. Beaches are clean, good snorkeling, or swimming and clean bathrooms. The park is large and accommodating to all visitors and lots of green spaces.
Fun, fun fun for everyone. The Dubai Autodrome has so much to offer and has a great place to walk and view the sights. Also open on Wednesday evenings to pedestrians and cyclists for free. Unless you need to rent a bike. Well worth a visit.
A touristy place but worth a look to see the history of Dubai and the region. Well kept and maintained, often crowded with tourists and in a congested part of the city known as Deira. Take a bus, walk, but when you take a car, you will be hunting a parking spot which gets frustrating in this city. Go early.
If you have to eat and drink in the highest building at the 122 and 123rd floors then this is it. Expensive but unique. A "bird's eye" view of Dubai and the Arabian Gulf from this lofty venue but there is a strict dress code.
