paulyn y's City Tips

  • Safety: Parents are to ensure 100% lookout of their kids in KL
  • Food: There are ubiquitous choices of food ranging for cheap eats and high end fine food.
  • Transport: Transportation can be a little tricky with young kids, bear in mind that you may need to take taxi (metered, if possible) in impromptu situations.
  • Shopping complex: Though overrated, the abundant shopping complexes in KL offers more than shopping, it is a good place to get away from the outdoor heat.
  • Tropical city: Bring a reliable mosquito repellent/ hats/ sunscreen if you are doing outdoor activities in KL. Hydration especially for kids are very important!
  • Weather: Rainfall in KL is quite common, hence, an umbrella (not so much the raincoat) will come handy especially with kids.
  • Strollers: Kuala Lumpur especially covered areas are quite stroller friendly. Look for elevators/ lifts in places like shopping complexes/ train stations for access.

Preschoolers are excited over this place which offers so many aquatic wildlife in action. Do not miss touching the sea stars in the touch pool, the moving walkway through the tunnel as well as feeding times especially shark feeding at the AquaTheater.
