Points of Interest

1. Start Here on Forest Road 3N34

Turn right at fork after pavement ends.

2. Parking Area

Good place for staging ATVs and dirtbikes

3. Bridge

The Forest Service built a bridge here over Deep Creek. Before bridge was built, the creek bed was lined with paver stones. A difficult climb up a boulder field follows after the bridge.

4. Difficult Climb

After going past Dishpan Spring, you start up a steep rocky hill that will challenge most vehicles.

5. Tent Peg Group Campground

You reach group campground where road becomes easy.

6. Crab Flats Campground

Continue past Crab Flats Campground.

7. End of Trail

Dishpan Springs ends at Forest Road 3N16. Left here takes you to Holcomb Creek Trail in 2.8 miles (available as eGuide from FunTreks). Right on 3N16 goes back to Highway 18.
