Hi there, as you have already noticed I am based at the Mexican Caribbean a beautifull place full of color and life, wonderfull landscapes, beaches and the extraordinary blue caribbean sea, such a paradise... I was born in Mexico City , i used to live in downtown, pretty close to the place in wich the archaeologist Eduardo Matos Moctezuma, found the ruins of the Main Temple of the Aztec Civilization. I am a Story Teller, i always knew it, and when someone listen to my words i feel so glad, because i can bring back to the life the magic of the aztecs, the mayas, the ancient cities that grew up in the middle of the jungle, and i can stil hear the roar of the jaguar, the song of the quetzal and i give a new dimention to the motives of the heroes that created our country and left a legacy that now we call History.

Turtle Bay has a lot of options on their breakfast menu, which means that to begin your day you should arrive with an empty stomach! You'll need plenty of space for their Chilaquiles, Hobo-Eggs and Mayan Steak — but check out the whole menu, as there is something to suit everyone.
After a delightful breakfast at Turtle Bay, coming to the Dive Shop is a good option if you would like to take a PADI course to get yourself started with your future in diving. Or you might like to venture into the waters of Akumal on a snorkeling tour, exploring the reefs and marine life that inhabit them.
After some diving and snorkeling, Santa Cruz is a great cenote to explore. Each cavern has a gorgeous set of different rock formations that are worth a look. Its crystal clear, cold waters are the perfect place to refresh yourself, and will help you survive the humidity.
Aktun Chen is another must when visiting caverns and cenotes. Beyond the natural beauty that decorates the insides of the cavern system, there is more than meets the eye, especially after you've read about the folklore of the region and find out about the underworld and Xibalbá.
Then, we have Yalku, an awesome spot if you feel like relaxing and enjoying a bigger, open space. Grab your towel, get some sun, and swim around the lagoon where you can expect to bump into a little turtle or the fish that inhabit the area.
For lunch, a great option is La Buena Vida. Order margaritas while you wait for your guacamole, shrimp or lobster tacos, ceviche, or a botanero dish, filled with lots of delicious things to satisfy your hunger. Get yourself into the pool with your drink until your food is ready and served.
At Half Moon, you can enjoy a long walk on the soft sandy beach or perhaps enjoy a swim to cool off. Wherever you look, you'll find nothing but a vast, gorgeous scene, decorated by the green palm trees and the blue shades of the sea.
After strolling down Half Moon Bay, continue your walk towards Akumal Bay, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you from beginning to end. Take a swim while watching the sun go down or just relax by the beach, chatting with friends and enjoying a refreshing drink.
Make a quick stop at Café Te Latte and order one of their delicious gelatos. You can enjoy one or two of their top flavors in a waffle cone, and while you're at it, why not order an affogato to indulge in while sitting on the deck?
Now, it is time for some pampering and relaxation at the Budha spa. Their qualified therapists will give you great service that you won't forget, and you can relax to the max, whether you are having a simple massage or a full treatment package. You'll fall in love with their service completely.
Don't forget to bring a piece of the Mexican Caribbean back to your home. Step into Lamanai and wander through its vast collection of decorations, artwork, jewelry, furniture, and knick-knacks. All of them have that Mexican Folk-ish vibe of traditional handmade arts and crafts.
To end your day in a fabulous way, at Lunita you can enjoy a delicious dinner, where every course paired with a different wine. The menu has many options, from lamb to seafood, all in gorgeous and unique presentations.
