Points of Interest

1. Paved Path

At first, you have a paved path to follow along the riverbank.

2. Riverside Bench

This bench faces east across the river.

3. Dirt Path

Then the trail changes to packed dirt. Still solid most of the year.

4. Big Doug Fir

This huge Douglass Fir is one of the biggest in the park.

5. Trilliums

Trilliums are one of the rare flowers with 3 petals. They bloom in early spring.

6. Dog Swim Area

The first of several along the trail.

7. Big Eddy Swim Area

This area has a recirculating eddy that kindly brings most lost tennis balls back within reach for your dog - as long as you throw in the eddy and not out into the main channel.
