One of our greatest vacation.!!! We’ll come back for sure... Nice hotel! Nice staff! They have free parking. Free wifi! The buffet was nice and a lot of choices. The pool was very ok. Everything’s nice.
We stayed here to attend benicassim festival. It was below average.
There are some things the hotel owners can’t fix without a multi million pound refurb.
There are however some things they could fix easily. I’ll start with the latter. 1. Check in. Be prepared for the longest check in you have ever experienced. Out of 8 people in our group there were issues with 4 of the bookings. It took over 45 minutes to get us all checked in. We had missing bookings and one Person sent to a room that had people in. Someone needs to streamline this. It can’t be hard as most other hotels can manage it.
2. Filthy roof where people have dropped towels, brush heads, nappies and goodness knows what else. It just needs a clean. Again can’t be hard.
3. The food is average at best.
Things they can’t fix but you need to know about:
1. The resort was built in the 80s is my guess. It was apparently once amazing. It is now VERY dated.
2. It is packed full of families. The hotel pool is constantly rammed. Do not come here for a quiet break.
On a positive side. The rooms were ok.
The picture of the hotel attached basically says it all. The T is broken and one of the 4 (!) stars doesn’t light up making it 3 stars. It is OK. it wasn’t awful. But it certainly wasn’t 4 star luxury!
I stayed at this hotel as have always wanted to use the big spa that they have in the resort.
I wasn´t disappointed with the spa, well worth the money.
The hotel allocated us a big room which was clean and comfortable.
Alot of people complain re the food on tripadvisor but I guess everyone is different as I didn´t mind the food and I am a fussy eater. I always found something nice to eat. The buffet does get a bit hectic at times and things could be replenished a bit quicker but in high season I guess it is normal for it to be so busy.
This is a Spanish family resort so be prepared that shows and kids entertainment is generally all in Spanish and you won´t have a problem. There is so much to do for kids that im sure any family won´t be disappointed. As well as the pool and entertainment in the hotel there are also water and small theme parks and attractions, kids clubs, spa for kids, nightly shows ( the Secret Garden is a must ) and a night parade that goes round the resort.
Plenty to do, near to the beach and highly recommended
We stayed at the apartments that Gran Duque owns. The apartments were quaint and clean. Very nice balcony and view of the ocean and property. The pool was not open yet, but it was early May so it was probably too early to open. The area was pretty quiet and not many people were around. The desk employees for the apartments and hotel were friendly and helpful even though they were limited English speaking. The grounds were clean, well-kept and colorful with many beautiful flowers everywhere. Night time was especially colorful with all of the lights lit up.
We will start from the bedroom, the air conditioning does not work, the hydro bath does not work, the fridge makes noise.
We had everything included but every where is very busy you have to wait for everything, restaurant, coffee shop, swimming pool. Because not enough staff. And very difficult for english people.
No organization for the show, tickets for attractions.
Gym very poor and tiny for a big hotel and the time is open is terrible.
So this hotel should be 3 starts.
We shoul call Gordon Ramsey to fix it.
