Loved my brief stay, the room was quiet, contemporary and immaculate. Francesca was warm, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very carefully thought out, healthy and pretty ti look at. The only slight negative is that it is a bit far into Mantova if you don’t have a car. But I think I’d rather stay here and pay for a taxi. Grazie, Francesca!
I stayed here for almost 2 weeks in late May, early June. I picked the Anima Mundi because of the price and location, as the company I work for is only 5 mins from Grazie.
I was super impressed by the attention of Francesca, and the cleanliness of the place. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The owner puts out this fantastic breakfast each morning, that she bakes and prepares each day! Some of the pastries were amazing.
Internet in the B&B was fast and reliable.
There is a small private parking space next to the B&B.
Note - the 'downtown' area is only a short 5 min walk from the hotel. There you will find several great restaurants and a cool bar. Also nearby is a beautiful church, with a path that leads to a park where you can pick up a boat ride on the Mincio.
Great hotel, highly recommended, and a big thanks to Francesca for making my (almost) 2 week stay so enjoyable
Our stay was for 4 nights.
What a great place to stay!
very friendly, a wonderfull, and a very clean room, breakfast is made for 90% by the house lady itself, and most of it biological.
We where travelling with a child of 2 years, and there was a child bed with sheets and everything, a child toilet seat.
A big shopping mall in the area, Mantova a nice city to visit, also close by Verona.
but most of all the friendly service will last in our minds. and we will return.
This B&B only opened a few months ago - so the outside is still a bit rough around the edges.
However once you are inside it will be one of the most modern and well designed B&Bs you've ever stayed in.
The rooms are huge, have aircon, TV, a large bathroom and WiFi. Every evening when I came home the bed was made and the room nice and cool.
The breakfast is typically Italian - don't expect a continental breakfast. But my god it's good. Everything is home made down to the yoghurt, they are more than happy to make some eggs in the morning and have great coffee.
Overall a very pleasant stay and I'll be sure to stay here every time I am in Mantua.
