This stay was designed in Mexican style I think. The bed was comfy except the A/C system. It was quite old so it took time to cool down the room in such a hot weather around this hot season. Location is a strength because it's quite convenient to get around and join some activities on the beach.
We arrived at La Casa at around midnight after an extremely long bus journey up to Mui Ne. We sent an email prior to our arrival explaining that we would be getting into Mui Ne and making sure we would be able to check in at this time..when we got there, tired and slightly fed up we were promptly shown to our room and left alone, without the usual fussing around at the desk that we have had in previous stays elsewhere. This is something that we were extremely thankful for. The hotel is very spacious with a nicely decorated restaurant in a Mexican theme, the menu is varied and reasonably priced, I recommend trying one of their pizzas! The pool, although small, has seats all the way around and serves as a good social area. Our room was simple, clean and comfortable. The beds are a little on the small side but that is the only downside in the room. Unfortunately there are a few things listed in the facilities that are not actually present at the hostel ie. pool table, table tennis table etc. This was disappointing as it was one of the main points that led us to book to stay there when browsing properties in Mui Ne. Other than that it is a very nice hostel with extremely accommodating staff that are keen to help you wherever they can.
Food very good, big room and very clean, staff are so friendly and they speak good English and the owner also Spanish and French , cool pool, location is perfect. Everything was perfect!!! Very good choice and worth it for the price! I highly recommend
Really great place, nice cosy rooms with airco. The interior is like concrete style, not sure how to descibe it but i like it. There is a pool where you can swim, nice bar and good latino music. The personal is helpfull, but dont speak very good english. You can stall your scooter/motorbike protected which is nice. Close to a lot of restaurants and surfboard rental spots. Also very cheap (€10 for private room for 2)
We had a double private bedroom.
After reading reviews we were skeptical about this hotel, especially as it was so cheap. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, the pool was nice and the restaurant food was really good. The bedroom attracted bugs, but the give you a mosquito net.
With a Mexican inspired theme, the whole place had a great vibe.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the passion fruit mojito and quesadilla deal!
