The plan was to stay one night here and have the safari, but after what I saw from the hospitality and entertainment for my kid, I decided to extend one more night enjoying the place.
We had couple of game drives with the amazing driver Hewart who could not leave without showing the most animal around.
The staff is just Amazing all of them are smiling, and trying to help..
The first night I was talking to the receptionist Zola, and told her that we are traveling for our anniversary, but I after I came back to my room, I was shocked when I saw the room set with bottle of wine and flowers all over the room. I did not ask but she took that note and act on it... Thanks a lot.
The food, can't say enough.. Amazing presentation.. Great taste..
I highly recommend this place
What an absolute delight!
We were treated like royals, since we arrived until we left. We were sat down in the restaurant for check-in and was offered water/freshly made coffee/tea/juice.
Rooms amazingly spacious with patio completed with a hanging chair, overlooking the most beautiful mountainous landscape.
We stayed in room 4 and 5 - highly recommended!
With a huge double bed, lovely crisp linnen, electric blankets, cute fire place with ample supply of wood made sure that we are not cold, made sure for a comfortable stay. Apart from the fire place, the room was fitted with an air-conditioner as well.
The bar fridge was well stocked. Complimentary sherry and apples in room. Lavazza coffee machine, and plunger. Really lots to choose from....glasses and crockery of great quality!
Bathroom is huge, with a free standing bath, walk-in shower, heated towel rails which housed beautiful white towels.
We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which overlooks game roaming nearby. We saw rhino’s and zebra....
Food was great, service excellent and I had the best omelette ever!
The Village is child friendly with a lovely swimming facility and play park.
The Village also offer game drives which unfortunately we did not participate in....we left it for our next visit.
The Village offers breakfast, lunch and dinner to the public as well.
Thank you The Village and your staff....we will definitely be back.
Having been to many private Game Lodges up in Mpumulanga and Limpopo I can honestly say that apart from the great mulitude of game in those provinces, Botlierskop excels in attentiveness, cuisine, the room, everything was just above perfect. Even more exciting we saw lions being darted and moved slightly. Beautiful young Eland and rhino a few times, elephant, bontebok, black impala, giraffe. Excellent game ranger, Marlon, very knowledgeable particularly as we are well travelled bush people!! We learnt more than we knew.
What a great place, and perfect for families. So convenient as specially if you have children. Everything was perfect..
Our room was so luxurious and breakfast was a big treat.
Would definitely return and next time for longer :-)
We really enjoyed our stay at the Village @Botlierskop. The lodge is lovely decorated and extremely well maintained. The staff was so nice and always very helpful. The rooms are stunning too (our room was category „luxury room“) with an amazing view over the beautiful landscape. Breakfast was great, dinner as well and food prices are reasonable. The game drive was very informative. Although we could not find the lions our guide made a great effort to make us see as many animals as possible. Definitely worth a stay!!!
