First of all i would Like to thank all of the staff at grand fiesta for a wonderful time.

Ricky, at the pool bar was the best. He took care of us. Always on task with drinks and knew when to stop us!

Aldo was great at getting the crowd hype and was always down to give us information and converse! His morning aerobics class is a great way to get the day started.

Sergio is the funniest and best DJ on the staff. He informed us of the night life and puerto Vallarta and always played our favorite songs!

At the Yuu restaurant, Elias, Manny, Ernesto, and Perfecto who’s name is also Elias lol they made our dinner memorable. Very attentive! Very funny, and Elias is so down to earth and even helped us with a small issue we had at cevecheria.

At the reception, Fernando took care of us with room service when our phone didn’t work after hours. We had just got back from a party and he was patient and attentive to our needs!

Dominique, helped us get into our cabana even on his day off, went above and beyond! Make sure you visit him!

Literally had the best 7 days here! Love you all! Be back soon!

We wanted to relax which is why we chose an adults only resort but, that was not the case at all as this place was pretty loud most of the time, it felt like we were on spring break or a frat party. Before booking this resort I asked them at what capacity they were running and I was told “We are running at 25% capacity” which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. It was pretty evident from the begging that the hotel was not operating at 25%
The place was pretty full, from restaurants to the pool area. It was hard to find chairs anywhere especially on Friday and Saturday there was so many people and it was so loud, someone mentioned that they saw busses bringing in people for what seemed for the day! People would smoke everywhere including in the swimming pool. The food was just okay for a 5 star resort, we have been to others where the food is outstanding. The rooms smelled really musty/moldy.
For an all-inclusive resort they want to charge you for a lot of things! My wife is a coffee person, she always makes sure that places have a coffee shop included but, when she went to get coffee she was told that the only coffee that was included was just plain regular coffee and it was on the smallest cup (smaller than a tall) if you wanted anything larger it had to be Starbucks for an extra charge! Like I mentioned before the food was just okay, we had dinner at the Italian restaurant and they offered a porter house steak (Extra charge!) I went ahead and ordered it, big mistake the steak was like ¼ inch thick and was more bone than meat, keep in mind that this was for an extra charge. We went to the skybar and I saw they had redbulls I asked for one and was told they were also not included and I had to pay almost $5 for a small redbull.
The only thing that we found good in this resort was the ocean view from the room. Also the service was really good given the circumstances. The one person that I really want to thank and that went out of his way to make our stay was better was Dominique who ran I believe the pool area, Thank you Dominique!
All in all this was a real disappointment and we would not return to this resort!

As I’m sitting in the lobby waiting to leave the resort, thought it would be a good time to review.

I just spent 8 nights and had a very relaxing vacation. Spent most of my time in or near the pools. Service has been exceptional the entire stay. Food pretty good for an All Inclusive resort. Drinks good and consistent with a variety of brands. Ocean water nice and warm with a wave break so it’s not too rough. Room was cleaned and mini bar restocked each day. Visiting in September I expected it to be super hot and humid but it wasn’t bad averaged mid 80’s with 75% humidity. I’d come back to this resort.

I had high hopes for this hotel, I read the reviews. Unfortunately this hotel is lacking in communication skills. Before booking this hotel i called on 7/30/2020 and spoke with Diego, i asked what the liquor selection was for the all inclusive. He gave me the list for very liquor category. When we arrived we were told the liquor he mentioned wasn’t even at the resort and some weren’t included in our all inclusive. I was upset and asked why none of this was discussed during check in. Additionally, my party and I were at the pool bar on a Saturday and we were cut off at 7pm because the bar was “closing” I stood there and watched the bar tenders make drinks for everyone that was Mexican while we were told no. I asked for the manager and they made the drinks to keep me
From making this a big deal.

One of the biggest issues was the food selection, I am a vegan who decided to have fish while I was here. The Shore grill is the only place that serves seafood they close at 5pm. After starving the first day i talked to Marco at the concierge desk who promised to address all of my issues. I mentioned the food, what happened at the bar and the inconsistencies in what was told to us. I also mentioned the lack
Of alcohol choices as mention by Diego on the phone and via email. Another manager by the name of a Christian said he would bring us a cognac bottle for all the trouble, he left to go get it, then came back with another manager who said they can’t give us that because of the room category. Marco promised he would take care of all of this. He was going to arrange for special menus. The first night was some dry pasta with a few pieces of flavorless shrimp and leftover Sushi from lunch. The second night it was everything for dinner from the lunch spot shore grill, so we really ate everything twice in the same day. Marco and the team came to the table with a bottle of remy Martin, the same liquor a few hours later they swore they didn’t have and “upgraded” wrist bands for all premium liquor. He told us we can have everything on the first 3 shelves, we even went up that night and had shots of blue label. The next afternoon we went to the bar looking for quality tequila shots from the 3rd shelf and we were turned away, saying that we don’t have wrist bands for the premium liquor! Huh? That’s everything Marco swore was included with the wrist band, at this point i had seriously had it with the inconsistency so I just said ok and that i would be writing a detailed review. The final night the chef wasn’t even aware that we had something arranged my Marco, so again no dinner. The morning of my departure Marco had the audacity to come approach me and basically call me a liar, I told him this was horrific customer service. He told me that the chef told him we were wasting food. Wasting nasty food that I paid for? Nothing was like he said it would be.

I wouldn’t book this hotel if you’re reading this review, I would take your business elsewhere.

The only great thing was the sunset. The communication with non Hispanic guests is terrible and they lack training.

I stayed from 8/5/20 to 8/12/20 and I think they did an amazing job at safety procedures at the hotel. There was not a moment I felt uncomfortable being anywhere on the resort. There is safety kits given to you which include a mask, wipes, and hand sanitizer. They also have hand sanitizer available around the resort along with feet hand sanitizer rugs. They also spaced out the pool lounge chairs and the restaurant tables. At every sit-down dining experience, they bring out paper placemats that have the QR menu and disinfect the table in front of you. Unfortunately the menus did not change in the 8 days we were there, but it may be harder to accomplish during covid. I have to say Ernesto and Aurelio were amazing. They accommodated every change we had to the meals and definitely fixed my shrimp craving. Aurelio even brought a birthday banner, balloons, and a firecracker cake out for my dad’s bday during the trip. AMAZING. The pool service was also great! The food came out hot and all the staff was super attentive including Selerino and Fernando. I also have to add that I love that they had totes in every room. It was a nice touch and everyone puts them to use at the pool! I think the only downside to the trip was that there wasn’t a lot of activities to do besides lounge at the pool and eat. We did kayak but I wish there was paddle boarding or a night show over the weekend if events are limited due to covid. I do recommend going to the sky bar rooftop to night jacuzzi, the martini lounge to play pool, and the mojito lounge to try a variety of mojitos with their extensive menu. Overall, still a good trip and an even better escape from reality for a couple days

We only viewed the Moet and Chandon Suite which was a king bed with separate living space. Very roomy and overlooked the Sky Bar with DJ nightly.

I was on the South Tower 3rd floor and it was fine for noise.... Seems like the reviews i read the ones any where close to the sky bar gets noisy.
