This property exceeded every expectation possible. Upon check in we were upgrades to the large suites rooms because they were available and they were amazing. Rooms were spacious with vaulted ceilings, comfortable beds, cozy seating areas, modern bathrooms and incredible décor. The attention to detail is amazing and spreads through the rooms into the common breakfast area. Warm colours, cozy fabrics, hanging features and everything in between. Virginia was a great host and very helpful. There is a hot tub onsite and she prepared robes and flip flops on request which was very kind. In the morning there was a fresh and warm breakfast for all guests. The property is within a 8 minute drive to the ski town of D’Aosta. We were there both nights for dinner and had wonderful local cuisine. We also used this property as a home base to ski at Pila which was very close as well. Overall – one of the nicest properties I have stayed at in Europe and would highly recommend it.
Lovely, cozy villa situated on the outskirts of Aosta amongst the tranquil greenery. The room was very comfortable and homely. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast spread was plentiful in selection, especially if you like cheese. I’d recommend staying if you have a car, and I’d certainly return in the future
Its location is great, right in the center of Aosta Valley. The breakfast is very good, the wi-fi perfect. The room is large, very well decorated, comfortable and very clean. The service is very good and the parking perfect.
Aosta is a great place to visit. The drive in on the autostrada is dramatic with the steep mountains towering over the valley, the terraced vineyards and Roman history is very interesting.
About 5km outside Aosta is Le Parfum du Sel in Jovencam. It is a quaint chalet style B&B with five rooms, a nice welcoming host Virginia (who speaks perfect English) in a battle axe block off the main road with easy parking.
After check in (we had the room called Lune) we went into Aosta, saw the great shops, Roman gate, arch and arena, had dinner in a mediocre Trattoria Praetoria then returned to bed.
We realized outside ski season one night in Aosta was sufficient.
Positives of this B&B are clean modern rooms, a lovely host, nice breakfast, good wireless internet and bathroom with great shower. Negatives are small room, noisy refrigerator and no English Language channels on the satellite TV.
This B&B is worthy of consideration for your visit to Aosta.
