Bewteen Friends is located in a charming house conveniently located at 4th Ave and Arbutus with good bus service. Parking is also available for a small additional fee. We stayed several nights in the Wedgewood Suite, which is large and located at the back of the house, so quiet, with an ensuite bath. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Owner Simone and manager Sam have everything well organized and presented a large variety of food for breakfast, including a different hot dish every day. Unfortunately, Simone has decided to take a break and will be suspending operation at the end of the year.

we rented the 2 bedroom travel apartment for our family for 3 nights. great value as everything else that was close to downtown was significantly more. the apartment itself was clean and well-equipped. easy to get in contact with the hosts.

location was great. about a 10 minute (with kids, so probably faster with adults) walk to kits beach and 20 min to granville. grocery stores and restaurants closeby.

be aware that parking was in a closed lot that was about 2 minute walk off-site and is an extra $7/day.

would definitely recommend.

Traveling to Vancouver for a BCU Graduation and needed a place to stay. Hotels were out of my budget range so I was looking for a B&B close to where family members live. This place came up on the search. Well appointed rooms, an excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereal, juices and a different hot entree each morning. The room I stayed in shared a hallway bathroom that was never not available, spotless and clean and very spacious. This B&B is half a block from W 4th Ave which has many, many restaurants, shops and places to get a drink. Also easy access to public transportation. I hidden jem in Vancouver.

My sister and I stayed in the Cosy Kits rooms for 3 nights after finishing a tour of the Rockies.
We had emailed beforehand about arriving before usual check in time and there was no issues with this. We expected to be able to drop off our luggage and check in later but when we arrived the room was ready so could go straight in!

Getting to the B&B was easy as we caught a bus (#4 or #7) in Downtown as the B&B was a short walk (5 mins) from the West 4th and Arbutus stop. This also made it super easy if you wanted to catch the bus into town. Alternatively it was a 15/20 minute walk across Burrard Bridge to the edge of Downtown Vancouver.

The Cosy Kits room is as described quite cosy with just enough room for our two large suitcases but that was all we needed as we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the room.

The breakfast spread was great with the option of yoghurt, fruit salad, cereal and a hot dish daily. There is one hot dish offered each morning so gives a good variety - we had pancakes, cheese, pesto and tomato bagel and eggs Benedict while we stayed. All were delicious and Sam and Simone were super friendly coming to have a chat with guests once they had finished preparing.
It was great to be able to have breakfast with other guests around the dining table to chat about plans for the day and any recommendations.

The shared bathroom is really big and we had no problem with access while we were staying. There is also a kettle and fridge available to use.

It was pretty warm while we visited so we slept with the windows open, no problem with noise despite being near the main road and in a residential area.

With the beach just a short walk away, this gives you a perfect combination of access to the city but also space to relax!

There are lots of restaurants nearby and some grocery stores - we enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the Whole Foods Market and an ice cream from Rain or Shine - would highly recommend both!

Definitely would revisit due to great location and welcoming atmosphere created by everyone we met there.

This was our second trip to Vancouver and previously we stayed in a City centre hotel. Vancouver is a beautiful City and this B & B in Kitsalano is in a beach and tree lined location allows you to enjoy the natural beauty. You will receive a friendly welcome and lots of local insight to make your stay memorable. Our accommodation was spacious with a living room (with fridge and tv) and a great shower. The host has created a friendly environment and breakfast shared with other visitors around a large central table, is a place to meet people and swap tales. The fruit salad and home made granola is wonderful and there is a cooked option to accompany the coffee and fruit juices.
Kitsalano itself, is a short bus ride to the City and Skytrain. The area has great eateries, local shops and a superb beach and outside pool. It is adjacent to Granville Island and the Anthropology Museum at British Columbia University. All in all this the perfect place to stay and great value.
