I am so happy we have chosen Reethi Beach for our 10 days holiday. Everything was just perfect.
I can tell you all that this Island is a paradies for divers and snorkelers. The underwater life is amazing and so alive. We already travelled a lot in Maldives and have a lot of experience, but this underwater life is just stunning. We were so surprised.

The rooms and the island furniture are little old but this is not very important because all the rest is perfect.

All the staff over there are super friendly especially Ali Nasheed (Rooms Division Manager), Jarey (F&B Manager), I don’t know her name but she is a very beautiful indian girl working in the bar and Maajid from the Restaurant. Those people gave everything to make our stay unforgettable. Thanks for that!
But all the staff are amazing!

The island is giving you a total natural island feeling with all the coconut trees and the jungle plants.

Reethi Beach is also offering a lot of choice for all the meals. We were staying there for 10 days and didn’t got boring with the food. The Moodhu Bar is a stunning place with very good quality food. In general the food over there is very tasty and very fresh.
I can tell you I am very picky with food and get stomach upset very easily but there everything was super fine!
Thanks for always serving me coconut every single day.

Also you have to know that on the Island you will only have WiFi in the bars, reception and restaurant. This was the perfect opportunity to really calm down and relax without using my phone all the time. I really enjoyed it so much.
If you need WiFi in your room then you can buy it at the reception.

I can highly recommend this island for your holiday and have to say thank you all again for such a nice experience. You all are doing a great job! I hope to come back soon

Best regards,
Shameem & Alessia

It was my first time on Maldives and it appeared to be even better than I expected.
I chose seaplane transfer, it's pricey but the process went smooth.
The hotel was built as a 4* many years ago. That means that villas are nice but they doesn't look new or posh. Anyway, everything worked as expected, open sky bathroom is amazing, bed is comfortable and everyday cleaning was perfect.
I stayed in Reethi villa and was provided with highest level of privacy, which was exactly what I wanted. Villas are separated, I had my own sunloungers on a beach in front of my villa, separated from neighbors' sunloungers by bushes.
Unfortunately there were wild nature invaders in open bathroom (ants decided to drink from the toilet and then started fighting other ants) but guys from reception solved this problem.
I was provided with 2 bottles of water a day and despite my worries it was enough.
Buffet style food was good, not fancy, not a high-end dining, just good. I liked breakfast the best. I am choosey and my stomach is delicate but I could always pick suitable food.
If you order water or any other drinks for lunch or dinner they're not free but you can take the water from you room.
Service was good all the time, everyone was polite and friendly. I forgot to bring a cable for my gopro and surprisingly personnel could find it for me!
Massage in Coconut Spa was very relaxing.
Hotel allows to checkout just before transfer back which let me enjoy last half of day swimming instead of waiting for transfer in a lobby. Many thanks for that!
The island is amazing, I've been snorkeling almost all the time here and there and explored both sides of an island. I met turtles, sharks, rays, octopus, giant lobster (which was sadly eaten the next day by some animal) and dozens types of fish.
Visibility depends on tide and wind, sometimes it was good, sometimes not.
I also spotted dolphins swimming past the island in the early morning.

If to say about what could've been better, then it's meat in main restaurant, I can live without meet so I didn't care much but those meat dishes I tasted were dry and hard to chew.
Beach cleaning could've been better as it's hard not to step on coral particle or shell and overall beach view wasn't so spotless.

Overall, good value for the price.

This review is based on our visit on March 2021, during COVID restriction. Also, we heard that this property was bought over by other company and planning to renovate completely in near future, so may not be relevant after renovation.

It is very nice budget resort in Maldives. But room and other structure is little dated and need renovation, but that also give us some rustic image, so we didn't care about those since all were working functionally.

"Shoe Free" island. If you choose, no need to wear shoe in any place in island. We didn't wear shoe for the first few days, but found out that our feet was getting painful, and board walk to water villa was extremely hot, so end up wearing shoe half of time. But it is up to you to wear.

Besides main buffet restaurant, only one restaurant was open every day, and other restaurants were open alternative days.

No need to carry around cash or CC. That is nice. You don't have to have anything to get a drink on the beach, everything was chargeable to room. But each and every time, you need to wait for them to get you paper to sign what you got, and sometimes we forget to sign. We get preoccupied with something, and easily forgot. Wish there is better way of they tracks our purchase.

Ground and beaches were kept clean all the time by the ladies. We see a lot of ladies sweeping leaves on the floor all day, and men were cutting overgrown branches. However, they just sweep leaves to behind the bush, and all the dead leaves were still visible.

There is dive center which can take you to excursions. If you want to do some water activity besides snorkeling, that's the place you need to check. Some excursions are on certain days of the week, so you need to check when is what. Not much information were available over internet. But they are the one and only place you can ask for any activities.

Only place you need to wear mask is main dining buffet. But if you forget to bring mask from your room, there is no way to find one besides going back to your room.

Since it was during covid time, not everything was operating. Some of those information were told upon check in, but not all. Wish what's open when, which days, what's the menu of each restaurant, what's the theme of main buffet, price of excursions were available more easily without we call and check each and every time.

The house reef, coral was mostly dead especially lobby side of island, but the other side abandoned fish are seen, and enjoyed snorkeling all day. Morning seems better snorkeling time.

We spent 6 nights at this wonderful location. We got a room on the west side of the island, wich was perfect, the beach was great, a lot of fishes(even baby sharks) , the kids could swim while we were relaxing on the sunbeds in front of our rooms. We got the all inclusive pack, wich I recommend, cause the food was great and with lots of options . The staff were super friendly, always smiling, always there to help. We took the dolphin cruise and the turtle cruise, unfortunately we did’nt see the turtles, but it was worth it, we snorkeled and saw many fishes. On the eastern side of the island, at 6 pm they are feeding the manta rays and sharks, and we watched them closely. A very important piece of information, wich I didn’t find in the reviews, is that the connection from male-reethi island , by seaplane, was very well done.we were a group of 10 people, we arrived in Male at 7:30 am, and the seaplane departed at 9:30, so we didn’t wait very long,it was perfect, and the flight back was at 15:45, our flight leaving at 19:55.it would have been better if it was possible to leave the island later, but i understand that this is the latest they could provide. The main bar is very nice, the music was perfect. We tried the grill restaurant one night, it was ok, maybe not worth it. Would definitely come back, and recommend it!

We spent 2 nights in Reethi Villa room and 3 nights in the Water villa room. The staff is wonderful, they treat you amazingly well. All receptionists and workers are really nice (Specially Iku, who treated us very nice).
The structure is good but some details may be fixed. One important bad note is that I lost my GoPro with their problematic electrical installation, it broked while charging it. My cousin also had electrical problems in his room. None of the rooms have wifi.
Food is great and the installations are great.
Wonderful beaches, rich marine life, you can see in the island baby sharks, rays, turtles and a lot of big fishes.
In the water villa is excellent to swim.
Other negative point is the lack of sportive materials, but maybe because they're returning from the COVID period.
Excellent cost benefits.

Not sure how much to upgrade. But AI includes not all the drinks, but only selected drinks, plus you only can get to eat at main dining room. We half had board since we do not drink much. We ate in other restaurant for lunch which was good for us instead of having buffet 3 times a day.

Not an official one, but google Reethi beach map and you’ll get lots of hits under “images”. Many are pretty unhelpful but you will find some with room numbers marked. Sorry, not allowed to embed a link

There is room tax, make sure its all covered in advance with your travel agent,in with your quote.. So you don't have to worry, alcohol drinks are certain cocktails, (not all) and we could order all alcoholic drinks on top of that,in all bars.. You can also choose from a nice wine list and have a whole bottle should you wish.. (Double check with your agent that your all inclusive includes the alcohol) just incase..

Hi Russell,Dianna is spot on. Personally I would buy a couple from Amazon ,you’ll get a decent one for about £12.You will love Reethi Beach, I’ve been twice. If you are inexperienced snorkeller enter at the fish feeding pier and swim towards Moodhu bar- nice fish to be seen and calm water.
