Hotel Albons is a comfortable and architecturally very nice hotel. The building is a modern structure and the garden is well designed, with a superb swimmingpool. The whole picture is classy and stylish.
Our room and bathroom were very big and airy. Lovely to have your own outdoor seating as well. The common areas (like the breakfastroom, reception) are rather clean and spartan.
The quiet location and tranquility in the hotel give it a peaceful and zen atmosphere.
We were treated as you could expect from a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July whilst sight-seeing on the nearby coast. We were delighted with our large modern bedroom and excellent bathroom on the 2nd floor. We also had a balcony, table and chairs which overlooked the garden and the pool. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The WiFi was excellent.
The weather was lovely so we were a little surprised that not more was made of the lovely terrace by the bar, close to the swimming pool, AND the terrace outside the main dining room. We ate inside and it was rather warm and stuffy.
The buffet style breakfast was OK. The menu could be better for evening meals.
All in all though we had a lovely stay here and we would return if we were in the area.

Lovely large room with supersize bed.

We had a ground floor room that opened to small private terrace with table & chairs and loungers directly in the grounds.

The facilities were adequate, a very large bathroom with a good shower, there were some defects in the bathroom, a burn stain on the bath and a crack in the sink, but this didn't affect our stay.

Breakfast was lovely with excellent coffee, in a bright and airily restaurant.

The grounds were well kept with a nice pool. We did get wet when snoozing by the grass sprinklers, but hey keeps you cool!

Will definitely stay again. Would love to try their evening meal for €20!

Staff were great. They apologised for "poor English". But it was better than my "malo Espanol!"

Lovely views over Catalunya, and farm scent too!

Lovely stay and faultless. Wish I could ave stayed longer.

The Hotel Albons is situated about 15 minutes drive from Torroella. It is a bit 'in the middle of nowhere' but the views of the surrounding countryside are fantastic. The bedrooms are situated on 3 floors with the ground floor having direct access to the gardens and swimming pool.

The swimming pool is amazing, goes from very shallow with steps to a deep end. There are plenty of sunbeds and a lovely terrace with tables and chairs for lunch.
The food was excellent.
all of the rooms are very well equipped, superb bathrooms, large king size beds.

We had not planned to stay here, the nearby Moli Del Mig bumped us at the last minute and we were moved to this hotel. We stayed for two nights. We were given a suite and were supposed to have free wine at dinner (which did not materialise, had to pay for it when we checked out, not enough common language to resolve the problem).
The room was large and clean if a little dark. Bathroom was enormous and well supplied. The pool was nice. Breakfast uninspiring for a 4 star hotel, horrible Danone yoghurt, small selection of fruit, pastries, meats and cheese. Dinner was ok and service was friendly. It was a little quiet, we were the only people in the restaurant on our second night.
We had one problem when the fuse for our room blew on our first night, it wasn't rocket science to work out that the cause of no power in just our room was a fuse.....but quarter of an hour after going to reception and telling them this the receptionist still hadn't called maintenance. Found the fuse ourselves and reset.
However, we would probably stay here agin if we were in the area, and views from the hotel are great.
