This was my 1st stay and was highly impressed. Excellent staff, outstanding hot breakfast. The 2 double beds were in 2 separate rooms divided by a short hallway with fridge, microwave and coffee maker on 1 side and the bathroom on the other side. Each room had its own TV. Wifi was easy and fast

We stayed in Souris during a synchronized skating competition held in Kilarney (about an hour away).
The staff at the Souris hotel (Darlene and Louise who I met) went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They opened up the breakfast room at 5:30 am for us so our girls could have breakfast before they had to depart for their competition at 6:15 am. Darlene also phoned many pizza places in Brandon (which is the closest city) the week before our arrival to see which ones would deliver to Souris and then gave me the list so I could make arrangements ahead of time as we had to feed 65 people the night we arrived.
The rooms were very nice and clean and the beds very comfortable. A few of us even bought the pillows, which they sell, because they were so comfortable.
The hotel is also around the corner from the Souris swinging bridge which is a nice site to see.
I would highly recommend booking at the Souris Hotel.

We stayed only one night as we were passing through but would love to return and stay longer. Souris is a beautiful little town and this hotel is only a five minute walk to the new swinging bridge. Walk it in the day, see it with lights at night. Awesome. The hotel is brand new, the rooms are large, with two double beds separated by a bathroom. The only problem we had was the sink is outside the bathroom so you have to come out after to use the sink. In the middle of the night, the lilght wakes anyone sleeping on either side. We prefer all the personal hygiene affairs to be in the bathroom. The breakfast was fine but not great. It was all pre-prepared and when you arrived in the breakfast room the server simply brought you your breakfast. No choice and you couldn't help yourself. It was preshaped eggs, preformed sausage, and microwaved potatoes like McDonald patties. I have no complaints about the wonderfulness of the hotel but the breakfast would have been better had we went to a local restaurant down the street. Note that peacocks roam the town at will and it's not unusual to have to shoo them away from the front door of the hotel to get inside. And be warned they like to sit up high, like on the top of cars and leave bird droppings. Would we stay at this hotel again, absolutely yes! The staff was excellent and the hotel was the best one on our six day trip through Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Thank you so much for taking time to provide feedback on your stay. We are delighted you enjoyed Souris and the hotel. We also offer suites and some room types that do have the sinks right in the washroom, so be sure to ask us the next time you are in Souris. We do try to offer some hot items for our breakfast and will certainly see how we can improve in this area! Thank you again and hope to see you again one day soon.

Rooms were awesome, loved the separation of the beds with bathroom in between. as we shared the room with another player. Staff was excellent and continental breakfast was good enough to get the players going in morning, but a bigger option of food would have been nice. Location was great as we were walking distance from anywhere we wont to go.

Our hockey team stayed at the Souris Hotel and had a great experience! The rooms are set up wonderfully. The two beds, in the standard queen room, each have their own sleeping area separated by the bathroom in the middle which was great as we shared a room with another player. The location was super. There are only two things that could improve here. The breakfast is very small. Only toast and cereal. The second thing is that they only have two key cards per room and you have to return them because they have no more!
Other than these two issues we had a great stay!
