Having recently stayed in this hotel. I an and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for somewhere that is close enough to everything whilst being far enough away from the chaos that Blackpool brings. My wife and I were given the ground floor room which was really well decorated and also had a jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Not something I expected but massive bonus.
We were greeted by Paul the owner who was very pleasant and more than helpful when it came to advice on where to go and how to get there from the hotel. We sat in the lounge area for a while which has a great layout and feels really relaxed, we had a couple of drinks from the bar while having a conversation with Paul and other guests. It felt like being at a friend's house for a social night rather than a hotel bar.
The bed was very comfy and very warm when we got in to it, and the breakfast buffet had everything that you could want with plenty of tea and coffee also (does need Yorkshire Tea though). I have been to Blackpool several times and this is the best place I have stayed for all-round service. Will definitely try and stay here in the future.
Good luck to Paul on his venture and I look forward to seeing you again next year.
Had a lovely weekend would defo go back again. Lovely room, quiet, comfy bed, close to a shop and walk away from town. Single room with bathroom don't normally get that. Free toiletries not sample size and good quality products. It's on favourite list to stay :)
This was our second stay at Mayfair Hotel and it was as good as the first time we stayed a year ago. Excellent location as only a few minutes walk to the seafront but nice and quiet as tucked back from the main streets. We stayed in the family room which was lovely as it has been recently refurbished, nice touches including toiletries, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We had breakfast which was fantastic, Jenny the owner is lovely and friendly and obviously works so hard making this hotel a success, we will definitely be returning in the future- wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Blackpool!
Wow what a stay! Stayed for two nights with my husband and three year old son. Despite check in time clearly being stated as 3pm we arrived early at 1:30 and thought we would just explore for a little bit until our room was ready. However on arriving I realised I had received a little text from Jen asking if I knew what time I would be arriving followed by a phone call to let us know our room was ready and we could check in early if we wanted too! She instantly started to entertain our three year old, providing him with toys and really making an effort.
She asked if we would like use of the bar on the Saturday evening (this area is immaculate and would be lovely to spend some time) we said no but she was more than prepared to have it open even for just us!
Our room was IMMACULATE. We stay at Blackpool a couple of times a year and this is by far the cleanest hotel we have ever been in. No dust anywhere, sparkling bathroom and fresh bright white linen. The room and whole hotel smelt lovely too!
There’s a little shelf at the bottom of the stairs with extra toiletries and toilet rolls too help yourself if you run out, lovely touch.
The beds were so comfortable We slept like babies for two nights 😂. Extra touches like small heater and water bottles in the wardrobe in case we got cold. Decor lovely and modern and fresh.
Jen was the warmest welcome we could wish for. She made time and effort to talk to us and get to know all three of us.
Free parking on the next street or a paid car park just down the bottom of the street. £14 for 48 hours.
The breakfast was so good! Huge portions and completely catered to what we wanted.
We absolutely loved our stay, and will definitely be back next time we are in Blackpool! Thankyou Jen!
We stayed for 4 nights in May, Jen the owner was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was extremely comfortable, we both loved the jacuzzi bath!
Breakfast was excellent, we will be booking again in September, thanks Jen for making our stay perfect.
