Well overdue the refurb that it is currently going through but it’s clean and the location is excellent for the Merchant City and for gigs at the Barrowlands. It’s a 15min walk to Buchanan bus station.
We always call up for a quiet room in advance which does not overlook the main road as it’s a busy part of town. The staff here are very helpful with this. Floor 6 is the top floor and the odd numbers overlook a quiet churchyard.
Should be great once the refurb is complete.

This was my second visit to this Premier Inn and whilst a lot of things are quite good - like the central location, friendly staff, and decent breakfast selection - it did feel like the room we were in (231) needed some urgent work.

Overall the furnishings were quite 'tired' and in the bathroom some fittings were in a fairly poor state, like the shower curtain rail.

The biggest concern though was around the main window; we noted both mornings we stayed that there was significant condesation on the glass (you can't open the windows) and at the top of them there is a lot of black mould on both the metal frames and the surrounding walls, which wasn't at all pleasant. The net curtains also didn't fit, with big gaps at either end.

Given black mould is a health issue, this really does need action taking soon.

My friend and I decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. The choice of food was slightly lacking but the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. My room was spotlessly clean and was much larger than I expected. The only fault I had with the room was that I would have preferred better lighting. When I was putting on my makeup to go out in the evening I found the lighting very low. The service in this hotel was excellent and it is situated near the city centre.

We stayed here for three nights and found it to be a standard Premier Inn. The room was a good size and warm. It's a good location and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Friendly staff. Pretty rubbish wifi.

Great hotel in a perfect central position with parking closeby.
I had a great nights sleep although the room became a little over warm.
I had a late check in and this was not a problem, I was warmly welcomed despite the late hour.
Nice clean hotel and friendly staff.
