Nice staff, fantastic location, but there was not enough storage in the room and no washing facilities in the toilet.
A bit overpriced!
Very kind reception services, as well as porters and housekeepers. The room is large, modern and comfortable. Excellent pool and gym. Breakfast could have been better!
We were only there for a short stay, so it was a blur of a visit but the team made us extremely welcome
Hotel in great location - just between two metro stations if you are using and located close to all the top fashion shops, prêt à manger, IKEA !
If I was to be picky, the prices for in room dining and at the bar are high, even for a MO
I had planned to have in room dining, nesi goreng, before heading out for the evening but at 36 euros I think that’s s bit steep - same as the cocktails at the bar at 27 each - of course if money is no issue for you - no problem - I guess that’s high end hotels in Paris for you
Another point for me is that the cocktail list is different on the website than it is at the bar, so the one I had planned to have wasn’t an option that evening - however one of the team at the bar ensured that we didn’t leave the bar dissapointed
There is a outside courtyard area within the hotel that we wanted to drink at, but it was too smokey with cigarettes and cigars for us, I guess likely due to the roof being closed during winter months
Additionally - we paid close to 1000 euro a night for our room, but were expected to pay extra for ‘faster internet streaming’ ? Seriously ?
I had a great stay, wish I’d had more time to perhaps visit the pool - maybe next time
Room was lovely, loved the bathroom and the walk in shower - loved the peace and quiet and felt very relaxed and happy when we left
From the moment you leave the bustle of the Rue St Honoré and walk through the sliding doors of the Mandarin Oriental, you are met with an overwhelming feeling of peace and tranquillity; a sensation that persisted throughout our 3-night stay. The efficiency and genuine kindness of every single member of staff is second to none. Check in and check out were fast and seamless. The room was well-equipped with everything one could possibly need for a stay in a new city, including hair straighteners, paper clips and scissors, all of which proved useful at various times! His and hers basins, robes, slippers and electrical sockets as well as the heavenly Diptyque products made getting up and out a joy.
As a tea addict I was thrilled to find Jing Tea - my absolute favourite brand - supplied alongside a multi-temperature kettle ideal for green and black teas. The pool, steam room and gym offered a welcome break after a busy day and a return to the familiar feeling of bien-etre that distinguishes this hotel.
The one thing, however, that took our stay at this fabulous hotel to next level perfection, was the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced. As a confirmed insomniac, I enjoyed the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in years.
My only complaint? That I couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend this oasis of calm in a hectic world.
A great hotel with excellent service, good food and a nice bar. We enjoyed the spa and the location is great too. I would definately recommend it to anyone who wants to have a luxury stay in Paris. Great pool and fitness area as well.
Close to all attractions, this hotel gives very high level of service.
It is beautifully designed, gorgeous atrium pool and rooms.
Service is very good, but smoking should not be a allowed on the terrasse inside. It pénalise all te guests that do not smoke (could not really enjoy the setting). For the money we pay, they should provide a healthy environment and general quarters.
Not sure if it is worth the extra $ cost becuse of the smoking feature.
