What a great boutique hotel, perfect location in between the Louvre and Montmarte. Friendly staff and great lobby for a night cap with the most amazing wine chiller that chillled each individual wine to the perfect temperature! Really dog friendly, had a bowl and treats waiting in the room.
We had a lovely time at this hotel for our Paris/Amsterdam honeymoon. The lady on the front desk every evening was always so helpful and friendly, and immediately upgraded our room when we told her we were on honeymoon. The room itself was gorgeous. It was very small, as expected in Paris, but had everything you need for a nice stay, plus balcony doors you can open to let in some air. The shower was lovely and very clean and spacious with colour changing light.
The best part of the hotel is that after a long day of sightseeing you can relax in bed with a glass of wine and watch one of the many (FREE!!) films on the amazing service built in to the television. There were loads of recent releases all available in both English and French audio. We watched Midsommar and Scary Stories to tell in the Dark.
We're Vegan, and part of the reason we stayed here was the hotels proxinit to Hank Burger. Highly recommend a trip there for a delicious La Rockeuse Burger.
I’ll tell you who Maureen is... a great, friendly approachable lady on the Front desk!! Her English is perfect and ever so helpful! So the welcome top marks!!
The room was small but very cosy!
It was only 2 of us so no need for any extra. Otherwise it was very clean and more then adequate for our needs!
Location is more then perfect, we actually walked to every attraction from the hotel... no rush, just strolled!
Arc de triomphe
galleria La Fayette
Walked the river seine
Mont Marte (Sacré-Cœur)
And quite a few more!
There is a tube called Cadet 2 mins walk from the hotel!
Breakfast- very tiny hot buffet but well stocked !
Included scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages and beans!
And plenty of pastries, sweets, meats, breads and surprisingly not that much fruit in offer... really wanted water melon 🍉 I love this in the morning... hope they get some in before we check in here again!
Overall 5/5 !! Well done to all and thanks again Maureen for your wonderful hospitality!!
Will see you in February hopefully!
P.s thanks for the tips on what rooms to book next 😄
Our stay at Les Plumes was wonderful. Franck went above and beyond to make us feel special including setting up a dinner reservation, explaining the map of Paris, and even by giving our dog extra treats. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was spacious. The location was also in a great area of the city that's walkable and convenient to public transport. Would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting Paris!
Hotel booked based on the location, 9th district. We also found the charm of the hotel pleasant. We arrived by car and nevertheless missed a strip where you could stand briefly to unpack the suitcases and check in. While I was doing this, my friend drove laps because he couldn't park anywhere, kind of annoying though. The friendly receptionist soon made me forget this annoyance. When we went to our room in the evening we got a room at the end of the corridor "Victor and Juliette". Beautifully decorated hallway and a super cozy room, small but that didn’t bother us. Wonderful bed and pillows to sleep. On our second morning the hotel had a power failure while I showered but it was resolved very quickly. We have not taken breakfast at this hotel so I can’t tell anything about it. A lot of choice in the honesty bar. In short, we had a wonderful stay here. Cozy hotel, quietly located and yet central. Friendly staff, nothing is too much for them. A hotel where we would definitely return.
