I have been here so many times and wrote a glowing review a few years ago. I come back as the location is great but it has seriously changed and has a new manager who is so rude and just lacks any respect for guests. They do not care whether guests are happy or not and you’ll note they never reply to any guest reviews. Reception staff so rude bar one lovely girl. Mattresses filthy. Kitchen pvc units all now cracked and looking so old. Pool chairs many are broken. No place to hang towels downstairs in bathroom- minor thing but told them years ago about this. Tv volume pathetic not that we watched it much. I keep coming here only as location is good but i finally understand and agree with all hte negative reviews and can see why it gets such a low rating. To be a returning guest year after year and still not have anyone be extra nice is shocking. In fact any issue i have re AC being broken or fridges breaking etc is always met with rudeness. All the same restaurants we return to each year greet us like long lost freinds yet this place get ruder and ruder each year. Seriously unimpressed this year. Such a pity the old manager does not appear to be there anymore as he was excellent and a gentleman.

First day: bed breaks by sitting on it and boyfriend had to sleep on the floor that night (we found out that it happens frequently cause in the garage there’s a line of broken pullout beds)
Second day: the room starts to smell like dead animal or molded cheese (the receptionist said they’d do something about it but on our last day the smell was still drenched in the sheets, they never did anything).
First shower: broken tube under the tub and water all over the floor(the receptionist said they’d do something about it...on the last day we were still walking on holly water)
-no soap in the rooms (not even to wash your hands..bring your own)and you have to use the towels they give you through out your whole stay(if you want clean towels you got to pay)
-no room service(you’ll have sandy black feet for free and you have to scrub the floor before checking out if you don’t wanna pay an extra 70 euros)
-you need more toilet paper ? costs you 40 cents for each extra roll(maybe it’s a french hotel thing I never heard of..)
-the staff look like they care but in reality they don’t give a **** , no transparency and a lot of fake smiles...
Now the positive stuff:
-air conditioning(saved our lives from the heat in August)
-swimming pool: relaxing when they’re no kids yelling and splashing you in the face(the kids practically live there so there won’t be to many of those relaxing moments)
-tactical position, everything is near by.
I would go back only if they were honest and they’d take down 2 stars, that way i’d know what to expect and wouldn’t be so disappointed...

Good location 1 minute from the Promenade. Nice pool and gardens, clean room and bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the pool. Very friendly and helpful staff but the beds are awful. We booked a studio so knew it would be a pull out bed, however, the mattresses are so old and permanently concave in Shape that a good night's sleep can only be guaranteed if you drink lots of wine 😂

A very very budget option, if you really really really have to save money. First of all, located fairly far from the town and train station (15-20min walk). Not a single store/shop to buy water or food close-by- have to walk with heavy grocery bags for at least 15-20 min to the nearest department store (which aren't cheap by the way -if you think you will be saving money by cooking on your own!). It is fairly close to the sea, boardwalk, but the actual public beaches a bit further away (first one maybe 10-15 walk, and the other bigger better one a good 25+ min walk). The room we had was super small (even for european standards!)- with only one single bed and one pull out mattress on wired little legs that s hidden underneath the bed (cannot even call it a bed)- with tiny pillow and tiny blanket for each - my back was hurting and i was cold, and feet were dangling down from that short mattress-- most horrible conditions ever! impossible for more than 1 person to move around the room comfortably. The room was so small, had to hide the table under the side shelf to pass to the balcony if both beds were pulled out (and wall to wall mind you). Also, beware of their ground and "-1" floor rooms- a view of ground and a/c units or side building walls, dark and humid like in catacombs/prison. No room service/cleaning is a huge problem, especially not having towels changed, if you stay longer. Have to clean the room upon leaving yourself- floors, towels, sheets or pay a fine. There were NO toiletries, not even SOAP!!!! and only 1 (!) roll of toilet paper for your entire stay, however long that would serve ya! No salt or basics for the kitchen. When we complained about the room size and asked to be moved up to higher floors or a bigger room (check the floor layouts, there ARE rooms of different sizes somehow, which is weird 'cause you pay the same), the staff were extremely rude, obnoxious not helpful, saying they were overbooked (i never saw people outside of our group, so a total lie) came rushing with drama yelling at us in french, started shifting beds around (to show there is plenty of room for 2 ppl I guess), knocking down everything around- i didnt even know how to respond, was standing in complete shock and terror, traumatized, and believe me never asked for a single thing the remainder of the stay- and maybe that's what they were hoping for! Terrible customer service! Wifi very spotty and didn't work 90% of the time unless you were literally right in front of the front desk on the main floor. Bar is a total joke (had whole 3 bottles of liqueur on a wide shelf with a couple of tables in front of it, and operated by the same front desk person, or unattended). Pool was behind a locked gate, looked dirty and unattended, so didn't use. The good things: hotel property is behind a safe gate with a punch in code, did include hot-tub, sauna and a small workout room. The rooms did include a small fridge, teapot, small cooking range and a few dishes and sink and dishwasher. The shower was hot and powerful (although the tub leaked, and no cleaning service, so was always a mess!). Lots of boutiques and high end shopping and access to boardwalk/sea is just a few blocks away, within walking distance. If you are used to normal 3-4 star service, this is worse than a motel, so run as far as you can. Or better, rent a private room/flat through personal ads!

Me and my wife came here for a week and loved it. Would definitely return. 10/10 for everything. Location, cleanliness, pool, staff, parking, spa, the weather here peaked at 36° so the air conditioning was lovely to come back to after a day at the beach and pool.
