Hello. I would like to book a room but I need one with 2 single beds. Would you be able to guarantee that if I put that in the requests section when booking? Thank you

Choose this place as we needed to be near the centre of the city. The street that its on and a nice little side street that comes alive at night and there are several bars and restaurants. The entrance to the hotel os through the bar area, its lovely and feels friendly. Lift and stairs available to all floors. We were on 3rd floor looking onto the street. with a tiny little balcony. the room is modern design with separate showers and WC. Very large double bed small table, hanging rail for clothes, drawers and a fridge and safe.
At night there was quite a lot of noise from the street but not too bad and didn't go on too late.
we didn't have breakfast as choose to eat out.
the hotel is great and we would use it again. The atmosphere around it was lively and felt friendly. It took us about 10 mins to walk to Sol Metro.

I originally booked for 3 nights but a change in travel plans caused me to miss the first night. Since I had paid for all 3 nights I asked that the room was ready the next morning when I got in and it was. Was welcomed with a free glass of wine. The hotel checkin is in the bar area of the restaurant on the first floor. Room was very small but modern and clean. Once bar/restaurant closes the doors in and out of the first floor are locked but the overnight person from the checkin desk will come to open for you. Very good location. 10 minute walk to the Palace. I took the metro from the airport to a station a few blocks from the hotel and took the same metro stop to the train station later.

I would like to already point out that this is not a 4 star hotel by far. It simply does not have neither the amenities nor the facilities or service to be called a 4 star.It is simply put a 3 star boutique hotel.

I also found out that it neither belong to any big chains and it is not rated by hotel ratings as being a 4 star. Booking and tripadvisor lists it as a 4star based on third party ratings but is not. Lets go through the pros and cons:

Pros:
Location - It is centrally located in the La Latina district of Central madrid, everything is very accessible and walkable from here.

Break fast- I liked the breakfast variety, local items as well as the setting, just above a very old ancient site. Feels different. Service and overall breakfast would be A.
Staff and Service: Although not 4 star quality, staff were friendly and quick.

Toiletries: Yves rocher toiletries, no complaints.

Beds: High quality and firm memory foam. A

Cons:

Rating: Not a 4 star so dont get confused and dont book if you want to be in a 4 star

Rooms: Too too small, for the price. Not enough sunlight as it surrounds a old corralla courtyard, opaque windows, should have had transparent to make it more bright. Rooms are too small. Nice designs and art inside the room.

Overall, i would not mind this hotel if the prices were of a 3 star. But dont book if you are looking for branded chains or just normal hotels with bigger rooms. I would give a B+, a slight drop from A because of the price.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this hotel a lot. The room was maybe a bit small but nicely modern decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel, located in Calle Baja, is at the heart of Madrid’s old city centre and good and traditional restaurants and (tapas) bars are countless within walking distance. A great place to stay and for us also with a great price/quality balance.

I was very excited about the location and price of the hotel. I was delayed on my trip so I contacted the hotel to let them know I'd be a day late (very late) and not to cancel my reservation the hotel confirmed they would hold the room. I agreed to paying for the day to keep the room as my credit card was already charged. When I arrived exhausted from traveling the clerk had trouble finding my reservation as it was canceled! Also it was no longer possible for me to stay at the hotel as the room was no longer available. This made me angry and he threatened to call the police. The next day I requested a refund as they did not uphold our deal. They kept my money. Avoid this hotel the terrible service just may ruin your entire trip and cost you.
