I stayed 2 nights while at a conference in Fiera. Excellent location, friendly, efficient, clean, very welcoming atmosphere which is important when one is not familiar with town. Breakfast basic but sufficient. Staff are always ready to help. Room spacious, silent, excellent bed. I highly recommend.

OK, so my standards are not high being a backpacker but 1) I found the staff very helpful and comforting after I arrived after having had some bad news. 2) The room was small, but well laid out and the twin bed was almost a double in size. 3) My room was on the top floor at the back of the hotel and had double glazed windows, so apart from some elevator noise, it was very relaxing ! 4) Air Con was appreciated. I would definitely return, but ask for a back room. Cheers.

Good location. Old fashioned and worn out hotel, absolutely not 4 stars as they claim. Unfriendly staff. We had a noisy room despite specificly asking for a quiet one. Staff showed no understanding when we complained about this. This hotel only wants to cash money from tourists - we landed here by recommendation from a travel agency at Malpensa - unfortunately. Avoid this place and take a nicer hotel in Milan, one which is more beautiful and where they appreciate customers.

We booked this hotel based purely on its location, and if rated only on that it would get 5 out of 5. It's a 5 minute walk from Cardona train station, and has a tram stop directly outside giving access to all of Milan. The Duomo and Galleria are a 10 minute walk away. The staff were all pleasant.

Unfortunately, having a tram stop directly outside makes it unbelievably noisy. We had a first floor room at the front which had shutters so when we arrived we were hopeful the noise could be easily diminished. Sadly, the shutters only worked to shut out the light (which they did very well!). Trying to sleep at night with the traffic noise was almost impossible. We were convinced a window was open. Noise also leaked badly from the surrounding hotel rooms.

The room itself was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was ok, but the shower was teeny tiny, and the water kept going from freezing to scalding. The safe didn't work. For some reason all the mirrors seemed to be tinted so very dark and useless for make up application. Air con didn't work. Husband found the bed far too firm.

Would we stay here again? Nope.

I stayed at the hotel 2 nights one of which I spent in hospital for health reasons.
None of the staff asked me how I felt or if I needed anything nor at the arrive of the ambulance nor later.
During my stay my son came to visit me and I asked him to go and get things from my room but I was stopped because he wasn’t a guest.
I couldn’t do the stairs and I had to do because of the poor service.
The staff was always very unpleasant.
The room was dirty at my arrival.Infact I found hair on pillow and in the bed.
Definitely not suggesting approach this hotel.

Dear Ufswcv, How are you ? Hope everything is fine now. Sorry if nobody asked how you felt. It was nothing to do with you really. But we do have a big concern about privacy. This is the only reason I would find why nobody asked but I do really like to know if you feel better now. Not asking details of course. Hope also you are getting much better and sorry about your son not allowed to go to your room. Italian Laws about guests in hotel is very restrictive. Have a nice rest and wish you all the best in future.
